Meet The Lighthouse
Jubilees
|
Pat and Angie, The Lighthouse Jubilee's, have been
singing together since 1996. They happened to meet through an
organization called "Tops". (take off pounds sensibly).
Pat
lives in Buxton, is married and has two daughters and three
granddaughters.
Angie
lives in Portland, is married and has four daughters, six
grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
They
travel throughout Southern Maine on a weekly basis singing at various
retirement and nursing homes.
They
love gospel music and share that with others everywhere they go.
Pat and Angie have released 2 Golden
Oldies CD's, Vol. #1 and Vol. #2, four Gospel and one Christmas CD.
. Our message is simple!
We
love music! Especially from the 50's and back.
We
are energized singers that love to have fun doing what we do and the
audience picks up on that and they have a good time too! If you have any
special event coming up that you believe would be enhanced by having
"Oldies but Goodies' entertainment and sing-a-long - call us!!!
Don't forget Family Reunions, Class Reunions, Birthdays,
Anniversaries, Weddings, etc.
We
have our own equipment and only need a card table and a nearby
electrical outlet!
Below
you will find a few testimonies given by folks from various groups and
organizations that Pat and I have sung for as well as a list of some of
those groups.

"WE ARE PLEASED TO RECOMMEND TO YOU"

Taken in part from article written by Derek Cunningham, staff writer for the Foster's Daily Democrat.
Wed. Dec. 28, 2005
So. Berwick Senior Center hosts a sold-out Christmas dinner .
A lively singing duo called The Lighthouse Jubilees performed to a sold-out crowd of 105 local seniors at the senior centers annual Christmas dinner.
The Lighthouse Jubilees, composed of Pat Mclellan and Angie Guillette, performed a high spirited and energetic show. The duo, who perform around 50 Christmas shows during the Christmas holidays, reminisced about old time Christmases, where locals gathered on main streets to celebrate. In their sparkling jackets, they danced to a calypso beat, and belted out Christmas carols as the seniors sang and clapped along.
RSVP, the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Southern Maine,
hosts a Luncheon each Fall to honor the 500 people age 55 and over who
volunteer through RSVP to serve their communities. It is our one chance
to get people together to say "thank you" for all that they do during
the year, and we want it to be as festive and special as possible.
Twice now, most recently in 2005, we have asked Angie and Pat, the
Lighthouse Jubiless, the provide our Luncheon entertainment. They have
performed superbly both times, and our volunteers and guests have loved
them. If you are planning a similar event, you can't do better than
asking the Lighthouse Jubiless to come and entertain you.
Ken Murray
Director, RSVP of Southern Maine
Dear Pat and Angie,
"I wanted to let you know that you two ladies were the highlight
of The "USS Cortland 10th Reunion". Knowing what we know now, we should have hired you to entertain us all three days we met
in Portland. Your songs brought many memories back to the sailors, spouses and guests. You gals have fun with your music
and that goes across to everyone in the room.
We had several people mention to us that it was the best
entertainment we've had at any of our reunions!
Please feel free to use us as a referral if you want to.
We were very lucky to have been entertained by you two".

Angie and Pat,
"Your recent performance for The Southern Maine Gorham Alumni
Association was spectacular!!
The depth and variety of your
program combined with your vocal
talents and presentation techniques, created one of the most outstanding
programs our organization has ever had the pleasure
of witnessing your musical selections, obviously designed to fit your audience,
Will undoubtedly result in a request for an encore performance
in the near future. Many, many thanks!!"

the entertainment provided by The Jubilee's, The Cape Elizabeth Lions Club
Celebrated its 50th charter night on May 14,1999.
The
Celebration was made more spectacular by the entertainment,
given by Angie and Pat, who sang a medley of oldies from the 30's, 40's, and
50's. We remember them well."

I've had the great pleasure of knowing and working
with Angela Guillette and Pat McLellan, also known as The Lighthouse Jubilees, for seven years. Like fine wine,
they only get better as the time goes on. With their unique blend of humor, compassion and love they have entertained and inspired
countless hundreds of people to have fun, faith and hope in their lives. Their amazing musical talent and obvious faith in God
is an inspiration to us all!
